You can search DAAI by entering a KEYWORD or term in the text box located in the middle of the screen. You can also use to the "Extra Data" icon at the top of the screen to construct a more precise search. This latter option allows you to search through the "subjects" or "designers" databases. You can also search for specific organizations or journal title.

Password/ login information can be found on the desktop of each library computer or you can ask a Librarian.

All results will appear as a citation, including

• Author's name
• Title of article
• Reference source - name of journal and all chronological information (i.e. volume and/or issue number, dates, and page #s)
• Abstract - brief description of information found in article

All citations will also include a list of subject headings. You use classifications as search terms to further refine your search. If you click on a specific subject heading you can view other citations will the same heading. Click on the "Main Search" option at the top of the page to get back to the search box.

Citation list can be printed or e-mailed necessary. DAAI does not contain full text articles. You can submit an InterLibrary Loan request for items not owned by the library. Please remember to allow at least two weeks Items to be processed and received.
