INFOTRAC

With Infotrac you can search thousands of full-text articles and article citations on the subjects of business, biography, health information, contemporary literary criticism, general reference, social science, science, and technology.

If you have a library card from either Boston or Brookline Public Library you can access this from off campus. InfroTrac is actually a collection of a number of databases. All of the InfoTrac databases have the same search options and special features. Articles from all databases can also be printed or e-mailed.

Three of the most useful will probably be:

InfoTrac defaults to a subject search, but you can also choose to do Keyword, Relevance. Journal, or Advanced searches as well. These options are located on the left side of the screen.

Regardless of the type of search you choose, you can refine your search by limiting the results to only Full Text articles, or articles from a specific date range or journal.

InfoTrac also keeps a track of your search history of all searches executed during your current session. This helps you keep track of your search strategy and repeat searches if necessary.
