RESOURCE GUIDES FOR YOUR PROGRAM

Dennis Gaudet's SSC330 Class (U.S. History Through Film)
Summer 2009
Final Project: Quick Library Intro!

Looking to get started researching the historical context of your film? This three-minute film will introduce you to a few library books that might help!

P.S. Reference books don't circulate (they stay in the library); if you want to make photocopies of reference book entries, you can purchase a copy card in the bookstore.

Once you've used reference books to identify some key historical concepts or events, you can continue your research by checking out the [library’s e-resources] (try Oxford Reference Online!) and by searching for other books in the [library's catalog]

Use the following guides to help give you an idea of what is in the library and how to find it. Keep checking back, we will be updating these as our collection and the school grows.
