RESOURCE GUIDES FOR YOUR PROGRAM

Dennis Gaudet's SSC330 Class (U.S. History Through Film)
Summer 2010
Final Project: Quick Library Intro!

(Pssst... Hey, this is the old library website! This video will stay here for now, but for all other library business, please see our new site, neialibrary.com!)

Looking to get started researching the historical context of your film? This three-minute film will introduce you to a few library books that might help!

P.S. Reference books don't circulate (they stay in the library), but you can scan relevant pages at the scanning station next to the printer in the library (and then either print or save an electronic copy), or you can purchase a copy card in the bookstore to use the library photocopiers.

Once you've used reference books to identify some key historical concepts or events, you can continue your research by checking out the library's e-resources (try Oxford Reference Online!) and by searching for other books in the library's catalog. Quick links to the catalog and eResources can always be easily found at the top of neialibrary.com!

[The below resource guides are out of date. Please visit our new website, neialibrary.com!] Use the following guides to help give you an idea of what is in the library and how to find it. Keep checking back, we will be updating these as our collection and the school grows.
